Redwood Credit Union hires new VP of retail lending

SANTA ROSA -- Redwood Credit named Jeff Hudson as vice president of retail lending. He will plan and direct the credit union’s retail lending operations including mortgage lending, auto and consumer loans, credit cards and other non-commercial loan products.

Mr. Hudson has some 20 years of local financial services and lending experience, including management positions at Westamerica, Washington Mutual and JP Morgan Chase. 

“Jeff has a history of managing high-performing teams focused on excellent customer service. He is a natural fit for RCU, where member service is a huge priority,” said Ron Felder, executive vice president and chief lending officer at RCU.

Founded in 1950, Redwood Credit Union Redwood Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative, owned by members, who may receive low rates on loans, better rates on deposits, low fees. The company has 425 employees in 18 branches from San Francisco to Ukiah, east to Sonoma and Napa, in eight counties.

Brett Martinez is president and CEO. “Every one of our members is an owner and they benefit by participating in the cooperative,” said Mr. Martinez.
