HEALDSBURG -- Shareholders of wine company Truett-Hurst, Inc. (Nasdaq: THST), on Nov. 20 elected Marcus Benedetti, president and CEO of dairy products maker Clover Stornetta Farms of Petaluma, as an independent member of the board of directors.
"Marcus is a proven business leader and brings a wealth of consumer product experience and relationships with large retailers," said Phil Hurst, president and CEO of Truett-Hurst, in a statement. "He will add a valuable perspective to the board, and we look forward to his contributions."
Mr. Benedetti joined Clover Stornetta in 2000, joined its board and became president in 2006 and rose to CEO in 2011. He is also a member of the boardsĀ of the Association of Independent Dairies of America and Dairy Institute of California as well as an honorary advisory board member for the University of California, Davis, Agriculture Sustainability Institute; Community Foundation of Sonoma County; and Social Advocates for Youth.
