Banking & Finance

Tamalpais Bank is now a member of the North Bay Leadership Council.

Education

The College of Marin sponsored the Child and Adult Care Food Program and will distribute food from their Kentfield and Novato locations.

Food & Hospitality

Novato-based Rickey’s Restaurant, inside of the Inn Marin, celebrated its fifth anniversary by continuing a year-long community donation campaign, which so far has totaled more than $6,385 to six organizations. The money was compiled through 40 percent of food and beverage revenue on the second Wednesday of every month since January.

Health Care

Petaluma Valley Hospital received an “exceeding patient expectations” award from the health care quality improvement company, Avatar International for care delivered over the course of 2008.

Wine

The Sangiacomo Family was awarded a 2009 viticulture award of excellence from the Sonoma County Winegrape Commission during the group’s annual barbecue.
