Features: three group exercise studios, a play-care center, youth sports center and personal spa services. The lobby, lounge and meeting rooms can host local business, sporting and community events.

The club is the first in the North Bay for San Francisco-based Clubsource. It is located in the second building to be built in Basin Street Properties’ Redwood Business Center office-retail development in north Petaluma. The club building originally was to be a 60,000-square-foot office building, but Gensler reconfigured it. Ground-breaking was on May 2.
Fairfield Inn & Suites

Prominent Sonoma County hotelier Kirk Lok of Lok Group of Companies bought the land 11 years ago and began construction with his brother Alec Lok, who co-owns and operates K & L Construction. It opened as a Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in 1997.
A decade later, Lok Group management approached Maryland-based Marriott International about a partnership under the chain’s business-oriented Fairfield Inn brand. Upgrades to the existing hotel to bring it up to Marriott’s standards for guest comfort and safety added $1 million to renovation costs.
