Boisset acquires Raymond in Napa Valley

SAUSALITO - Boisset Family Estates, which owns DeLoach Vineyards, purchased Raymond Vineyard & Cellar from Japan-based Kirin Holdings Co. Ltd.

Located between St. Helena and Rutherford, Raymond is the Boisset family's first acquisition in Napa Valley. The Raymond family, which will continue managing the operation, started growing grapes in 1971 and produced the first wine in 1974.

Raymond farms more than 200 acres of vines in Napa Valley.

The Boisset family, based in the Burgundy region of France, produces a number of French, California, Canadian and Italian wine brands and the Idol grape-based vodka. The family acquired DeLoach in 2003.
