Registration closes this week for event focusing on business financing in current economy

PETALUMA – Registration closes Friday for a panel discussion exploring how to obtain financing in today’s difficult economic environment, scheduled for 4 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Sheraton in Petaluma.

The panel will feature Clay Stephens, founder and CEO of Warren Capital Corp.; Pat Kilkenny, owner of Kilkenny Advisors; Paul Breimayer, director of business consulting for Ghirardo CPA; and Michael Rice, senior vice president and small business lending manager at Circle Bank. The discussion will be moderated by Business Journal Editor in Chief Brad Bollinger.

Specific topics to be covered include how to select, approach and successfully work with a lender; details on the recently enhanced SBA lending program; the advantages of non-bank financing alternatives; and important steps in getting prepared for successful business financing.
