Former Constellation executive joins Wine Colleagues

ST. HELENA — Jon Moramarco, who for 17 years was chief executive officer of several divisions and companies of New York-based wine and spirits giant Constellation Brands, has joined business consulting firm Wine Colleagues as a full partner.
Mr. Moramarco joined Constellation at the helm of Canandaigua Wine Co. in 1999 and later led the St. Helena-based fine wine division, called Icon Estates, and then Constellation Europe. In 2007 Mr. Moramarco was appointed to direct Constellation International.
His experience with the company included oversight of division or company annual sales ranging from $50 million to $1 billion and yearly production varying from 5,000 to 10 million cases.
He left Constellation on June 30 of this year.
Wine Colleagues (www.winecolleagues.com) offers management, business development, government and industry relations, marketing and consumer research services. Mr. Moramarco joins partner Mike Jellison in charge of the management services and business development practice.
