ROHNERT PARK — The Sonoma Mountain Business Cluster has received a $20,000 gift from The Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation.

“Wells Fargo is very pleased to enter into this partnership.  We believe that job creation is a key initiative for improving our North Bay communities, and the SMBC is supporting the fledgling businesses that will become the employers of the future,” said Michael Sullivan, senior vice president of Wells Fargo and head of the bank’s North Coast region commercial banking group.  Mr. Sullivan recently joined the cluster’s board of directors.

The SMBC is an incubator and mentoring program for small businesses and startups located at Codding Enterprise’s Sonoma Mountain Village complex in Rohnert Park. The cluster currently houses about 16 businesses, most in the green technology sector.
