FAIRFIELD – Online vehicle auction company Copart Inc. opened its eighth facility in Pennsylvania and 153rd worldwide. The 14-acre site will help decrease cycle times and reduce storage and fuel costs for customers, according to CEO and founder Willis Johnson.

The Fairfield-based company provides vehicle sellers with services to process and sell salvage and clean-title vehicles to dealers, dismantlers, rebuilders, exporters and the public, in some states. It sells the vehicles on behalf of insurance companies, banks, finance companies, fleet operators, dealers and the general public.
