Fifth annual forum March 11 focuses again on Latinos in Workplace

SANTA ROSA — The fifth-annual conference “Latinos in the Workplace” is designed to give employers and supervisors the necessary tools to address safety, communication, immigration compliance, wellness and culture diversification

Speakers include:

Ernesto Olivares, Santa Rosa city councilmember; Willie Tamayo, La Tortilla Factory; Efren Carrillo, Sonoma County supervisor; Guadalupe Leon, Brooks Automation; Linda Higueras, Silver Oak Cellars; and Christopher Kerosky, Kerosky & Associates Law Firm.

This workshop will be held from 7:30 a.m. to noon in Santa Rosa on March 11 at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek at 170 Railroad St. The cost per person is $45 for ECA and NCBE members and $50 for nonmembers.

Conference organizers are the Engineering Contractors Association and Vantreo Insurance Brokerage. Corporate sponsors include the Advantage Workers’ Compensation, North Bay Business Journal, North Coast Builders Exchange, KZST and KJZY Radio and others.
