SONOMA – Dean Biersch, owner of HopMonk Tavern in Sebastopol, announced plans to open a second location in Sonoma this summer. The new tavern will be in the old Deuce/Emmy’s Restaurant location at 691 Broadway.
It will feature 16 beers on tap focusing on seasonal domestic and international specialty beers as well as a menu tailored to complement beers offered. Plans include an outdoor beer garden with a band shell to accommodate acoustical musical performances. Beer dinners with food pairings will be offered monthly in the beer garden.
