SANTA ROSA – Stephanie Hemmi joined Santa Rosa-based law firm Carle Mackie Power & Ross as a senior associate.
In announcing the arrival of Ms. Hemmi, the firm said its revenue in the first quarter grew more than 30 percent over the first quarter in 2009.
Ms. Hemmi previously worked with the Schiller Law Group in the East Bay, with emphasis tax and estate planning. She will work closely with the firm’s transactional group as well as the newly-formed wealth management group. She will also work in conjunction with the tax credit and affordable housing practice as the firm hopes to expand in areas of corporate taxation, counseling of non-profit organizations and philanthropic individuals.
She obtained much of her tax experience at the U.S. Tax Court, where she served as the attorney-advisor to Special Trial Judge John Pajak, the firm said.
