Lanahan & Reilley founders leaving; firm renamed

SANTA ROSA  - One of the founding partners at the Santa Rosa law firm Lanahan & Reilley announced he is retiring last week after 40 years of practice while the other founder will leave the firm to pursue other interests, the firm said.

Daniel Lanahan, who founded the firm in 1996 with Martin Reilley, will step down after having been semi-retired for the past four years, the firm said.  He will continue his service on various boards for several for profit and non profit endeavors, the firm said.

The departure of Mr. Reilley and Mr. Lanahan has prompted the firm to change its name to Lanahan Steever and Anderson LLP. It will continue to focus on corporate and business law, environmental law, estate planning, litigation, real estate and wine and agricultural matter at its present location, the firm said.
