WINDSOR – The Windsor Town Council adopted an ordinance establishing a Business License Program on May 5 that went into effect June 4. It is a mandatory program for anyone whose business is located in Windsor or conducts business in Windsor, and it replaces the town's business registration program.
Operating a business in the town of Windsor without a business license violates the Town Ordinance and can result in penalties. A business has 30 days to apply for a license from the date it commences to operate.
The initial application fee and first year's license is $60, and the annual renewal fee is $18 a year. For more information, go to www.townofwindsor.com/businesslicense.
