Redwood Credit Union in Santa Rosa named Billy McMillan manager of its West College Avenue branch. Mr. McMillan has been with Redwood Credit Union for seven years, serving as senior member service representative, operations supervisor and most recently as assistant branch manager of the Petaluma branch.

San Rafael-based Mighty Leaf Tea hired beverage industry veteran John Bortells as senior vice president of sales. Mr. Bortells most recently served as vice president of sales for the Pepsi-Lipton Partnership.
Government
Lt. Chris Spallino was appointed the new police chief for the town of Windsor. He replaces Chief Steve Freitas, who is returning to the sheriff's office in preparation for becoming Sonoma County Sheriff in January. Lt. Spallino is an 18-year veteran of the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office and a resident of Windsor for 16 years.

Kimberly Clement, deputy district attorney for Sonoma County, joined the board of the Climate Protection Campaign after serving as a strategic adviser to the organization. Ms. Clement has volunteered with Home Hospice, Common Women’s Health Project, United Against Sexual Assault and the presidential campaigns of John Kerry and Barack Obama.
Oscar Chavez, executive director of Community Action Partnership, and Steve Rabinowitsh, political science professor at Santa Rosa Junior College, were elected to the board of directors of Community Foundation Sonoma County.

Mill Valley-based 142 Throckmorton Theatre, a nonprofit theatre dedicated to supporting the arts, appointed Tammy Edmonson, formerly criminal defense attorney in San Francisco, as board president and Michael Moulton, currently chief financial officer of Circle Bank, board treasurer.
Tom Duryea, president and CEO of Summit State Bank in Santa Rosa, was elected to the board of directors for the Valley of the Moon Children’s Foundation.
