Oxbow founder, winery expert at Imapct Napa event

NORTH BAY – Steve Carlin, founder and chief executive officer of Oxbow Public Market, and Mario Zepponi, winery and investment broker at Zepponi & Company, will be among the presenters at the North Bay Business Journal’s Impact Napa conference on Wednesday, Aug. 18 at the Meritage Resort in Napa.

They are joining Clay Gregory, president and CEO of the Napa Valley Destination Council, and keynote speaker economist Chris Thornberg.

The third annual event will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and will provide up-to-date, need to know information on key issues that are currently affecting businesses in Napa County, from the economy to tourism and wine.

Mr. Carlin was the project manager for the San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace and has 20 years experience with Oakville Grocery Company, a Northern California specialty foods retailer. He owns a small Tuscan olive oil company, L’Olivo with his wife, Kellie.

Mr. Zepponi is the principal of Zepponi & Company, a boutique winery and vineyard investment brokerage. He will give his perspective on the state of transactions in the wine industry in Napa.
