San Francisco-based Union Bank N.A. named Elaine Genevro market president for Northern California. Ms. Genevro, a senior vice president, was previously market president for Central California.

Jimmy Atkinson
Napa-based AUL Corp., a national provider of used car service contracts, hired Jimmy Atkinson as chief operating officer and senior vice president. Mr. Atkinson had been serving as senior vice president of Assurant Solutions, Vehicle Service Contract Business Division, in Atlanta, Ga.

Allyson Ahlstrom
Ursuline High School student Allyson Ahlstrom of Santa Rosa held a free, back-to-school shopping spree for Sonoma County teen girls called Threads for Teens with more than 30 name brand national and local companies donating clothing and accessories.
Technology
Napa-based Accellera, the electronics industry organization focused on the creation and adoption of electronic design automation and intellectual property standards, elected to its board Shishpal Rawat of Intel, chair; Dennis Brophy of Mentor Graphics, vice-chair; Stan Krolikoski of Cadence Design Systems, secretary; and Yatin Trivedi of Synopsys, treasurer.
Wine
The Philo-based Anderson Valley Winegrowers Association hired Janis MacDonald as executive director, taking over from current director Kristy Charles. Ms. MacDonald has worked at the AVWA since January.
Lee Miller
Lee Miller joined Calistoga cooperage Nadalié USA as director of operations. Ms. Miller was the owner of Lee Miller Bookeeping, operations manager at M.A. Silva Corks USA and vice president of administration and finance at Tonnellerie Radoux USA.
Frank McCormick was named director of operations at Napa-based Signorello Estate. For the last two years Mr. McCormick was restructuring sales channels for Dry Creek Vineyards in Healdsburg.
Napa TN Services and the Winetasting Network, a division of 1-800-Flowers.com Inc., promoted Laine Adderly to vice president of operations, Maren Goebert to director of account management and Kristina Palko to director of marketing. Ann Littlefield was hired as director of merchandising and Tobi Sanders as finance manager.
