D Marlowe, Rohnert Park branch manager and assistant vice president of Summit State Bank, was elected to the board of directors for the Rohnert Park Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Marlowe also participates in the Executive Management Team for the Chamber.

Richard Kasaine, owner of Santa Rosa-based Richard Kasaine Delivery, was recognized by FedEx Ground as a regional Entrepreneur of the Year award recipient. Mr. Kasaine's proprietary delivery area includes the greater Petaluma area.

Jessica Watkins joined Sebastopol-based Leff Construction as a selections coordinator. Ms. Watkins has twelve years of experience as an interior designer and interior selections coordinator for a number of contractors in her home state of Florida.

Wine educator Ray Johnson was named to head Sonoma State University's Wine Business Institute. Mr. Johnson has been teaching and writing about wine while serving as assistant director of the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

Napa-based Queen of the Valley Medical Center Foundation named to its board Lisa Batto, president and CEO of the Napa Chamber of Commerce; Kevin Corley, president of Monticello Winery; John Diana, M.D.; Lynne Hobaugh, interior designer; Pam Kindig, Napa County auditor-controller; James Knister, M.D.; Thomas LeMasters, president and CEO of Bank of Napa; Michael Silvas, broker at Wine Country Fine Properties; and Kevin Teague, partner of the law firm of Holman Teague Roche Anglin LLP.

Nonprofit Organizations

Tom Bieri is resigning as the executive director of Sonoma-based Social Advocates for Youth. Matt Martin was appointed interim executive director by SAY's board of directors.

Jock McNeill, a Santa Rosa leader in the residential property management field, was awarded the Residential Management Professional designation from the National Association of Residential Property managers.

Wine

Santa Rosa’s Adler Fels Winery promoted Jill Lustenberger, formerly the winery’s finance and human resources manager, to director of finance and human resources and Michael Jeffries, formerly director of operations, to director of operations and production.

The Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers Alliance in Sonoma appointed long-time marketing and events director and recent interim executive director Maureen Lamb Cottingham to the position of executive director.
