NAPA -- The Meritage Resort & Spa in south Napa and its management company, Pacific Hospitality Group LLC, selected Petaluma-based Midstate Construction as the general contractor for a 131,000 square-foot expansion.
The expansion, expected to be completed in spring 2012, will be constructed adjacent to the existing Meritage Resort and will include an additional 165 guest rooms with patios and balconies.
A 12,500-square-foot conference center will be a part of the expansion. Other features include a sports bar, bistro, bowling alley, coffee and retail shops and a fitness center.
PK Architects of Tempe, Ariz., designed the expansion, with interior design by David Bury & Co. of Ojai.
