Book of Lists cover art receives national award

SANTA ROSA – The North Bay Business Journal's 2010 Book of Lists was given the Best Book of Lists Cover Design at the DataJoe Annual Researcher Awards.

Lakewood, Colo.-based DataJoe LLC develops technology products for business and trade journals, including research tools, e-commerce applications, data-to-print utilities and an online marketplace of locally collected industry research.

"This clever cover featuring a speedy-looking paper airplane made from a Business Journal list and traveling a North Bay highway was created by production supervisor Susan Schreiner," said Business Journal Editor in Chief Brad Bollinger. "The design says everything about the Book of Lists: It is a quick, nimble, inventive source for businesses navigating the information highway."

DataJoe Researcher Awards were first presented to DataJoe clients in 2007. DataJoe’s 72 clients are eligible to submit entries. Peer researchers judge the subjective categories and vote on their favorite.
