Calix revenues jump 21.5 percent

PETALUMA --  Calix, Inc. (NYSE:CALX) today announced  revenue for the fourth quarter of 2010 was $91.7 million, an increase of 21.5 percent compared to $75.5 million for the third quarter of 2010, and an increase of 3.8 percent compared to $88.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2009. 

“We are pleased with our strong performance in the fourth quarter, having achieved revenues and margins that were the highest in company history,” said Calix president and CEO Carl Russo. “Our business continued to accelerate throughout Q4, with a growing number of new customer wins, Broadband Stimulus vendor selections, as well as wide adoption of our new platforms.”

Calix makes broadband access equipment. It's primary markets are among small to medium independent telecom carriers and network providers. The company employs about 300 in its Petaluma headquarters.
