Latinos in the Workplace seminar coming March 10

Oak Grove has sponsored the event since its start, six years ago.  Sonoma County Supervisor, Efren Carillo and other community leaders will speak at the event which educates employers and supervisors about safety, communication, legal requirements and wellness of Latino employees.“We have observed a steady growth in the concentration of Latinos, both in our community and in our workforce,” said Mr. Hamilton, “The Latin culture is rich in traditions of hard work and family values, which closely parallel our very deliberate corporate culture. By actively participating in this seminar, we hope to further grow ourselves to become an 'employer of  choice' for talented, hardworking Latinos pursuing a career in construction."
