Wells Fargo economist to speak June 9

Wells Fargo Senior Economist Gary Schlossberg will address the state of the economy in a June 9 breakfast presentation marking the kickoff of the 30th anniversary of the the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts.

"Mr. Schlossberg's presentation is particularly timely given recent economic developments and the continuing uncertainty about the economy and a sub-par recovery," said Business Journal Editor and Associate Publisher Brad Bollinger. The Business Journal is co-sponsoring the event with the Wells Fargo Center.

Mr. Schlossberg is responsible for assessing the economic environment and providing input to the equity and fixed income portfolio management teams at Wells Capital Management. In that capacity, he analyzes prospects for the financial markets. He has worked for Wells Fargo for 27 years and the title of his presentation is, "After the Fall: What Kind of Economy After the 'Great Recession' of 2008-2009."

The event takes place at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts in the Lytton Rancheria Grand Lobby starting with registration at 7:30 a.m.

The cost is $25 per person, $250 for a table of eight.
