Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. in Novato announced that Bill Kenny has joined the company as vice president. He will lead the tax function for Allianz of America in the U.S and will lead the teams responsible for tax accounting, tax analysis and reporting for Allianz Group companies. Most recently, Mr. Kenny was senior vice president of tax counsel at Aviva USA, the tax function for the insurance group. A licensed tax attorney and CPA, he also has held tax leadership positions at ABN AMRO North America and KPMG.

Construction

David James has been promoted to senior vice president of U.S. Mainland for Canada-based Ledcor Construction Inc. He began with the company in 2004 as vice president, Napa, and eventually vice president, California.

North Coast Tile and Stone, Inc. hired Tim Martin as a commercial and residential estimator.  Mr. Martin brings 22 years of experience in commercial, residential and custom home estimating.  He started as a tile installer in Sonoma County and now is a lead estimator for North Coast Tile and Stone, Inc. The company also hired John Jobs as a commercial and residential estimator, who comes with 29 years of experience in estimating, project management and has served as a corporate officer

Technology

GoldMail, Inc., a provider of "Audio+Visual messaging" for business communications, announced the appointment of Michael Bennett as president of the direct selling division.

Mr. Bennett has spent the last nine years exclusively in the direct selling sector. Prior to joining GoldMail, Mr. Bennett was a senior executive with IMN, a leading software provider to the Direct Selling industry.

KKMI in Sausalito and Pt. Richmond has hired Dennis Huette as safety, health and environment manager. He will oversee KKMI’s environmental regulatory compliance process and manage health and safety issues at both locations. He joins KKMI from the NOVA Group with more than 15 years of expertise in this capacity, in addition to being an experienced yachtsman.
