NOVATO – Bank of Marin Bancorp (NASDAQ: BMRC) has been named to US Banker’s list of the top 200 community banks for the fifth consecutive year.
Out of the more than 1,035 banks and thrifts that were evaluated, Bank of Marin is ranked number 43 on this year’s list. Criteria used for the ranking included financial results through year-end 2010.
“Bank of Marin’s high ranking on the US Banker list of community banks is a testament to the loyalty of our customers, our disciplined approach to lending, and our focus on the core values of community banking,” said Russell A. Colombo, President and Chief Executive Officer. “We are proud of our financial results and are committed to serving our customers and local communities.”
It is the only North Bay bank to make the list, a company spokesman said.
