SONOMA -- The Wiseman Co., a Fairfield-based real estate developer, is in the early stages of planning for a 39,000-square-foot medical office building near Sonoma Valley Hospital.
The building could house specialists and physicians and other services, such as a women’s health center or laboratory services. The Prima Medical Group could possibly have physicians in the building as well.
The Wiseman Co. stressed that designs and plans are very much preliminary. The proposed medical office building would be located on a lot at the end of Perkins Street, between Andrieux Street and Fourth Street West. How many stories the building would have has not yet been determined.
The proposal was set to go before the city Planning Commission on Sept. 8. for its first study session but was postponed until a later meeting. The commission meets on the second Thursday of each month. The Wiseman Co. presented the plans at a community meeting.
