REDDING -- North Valley Bancorp's board of directors has appointed long-time Northern California banker Patrick Kilkenny as director of the company and its bank subsidiary, North Valley Bank.
Mr. Kilkenny assumes the post after 35 years of banking experience in Northern California. For 22 years, Mr. Kilkenny was the president, director and CEO of Redwood Empire Bancorp and its Santa Rosa-based subsidiary, National Bank of the Redwoods. Westamerica aquired both in 2005, and Mr. Kilkenny retired in 2006.
