Pisenti & Brinker hired Leanne Potts and Vienne Vandervoot as associate accountants at the Petaluma firm. Ms. Potts is a graduate of Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University. She was formerly in the accounting department at Legacy Marketing Group. Ms. Vandervoort is Sonoma State graduate and was a Pisenti & Brinker intern during her senior year.
Gina Joske joined Wells Fargo Insurance Services in Petaluma as an insurance sales associate. Ms. Joske will be part of the Employee Benefits Department, specializing in individual health insurance and Medicare supplemental policies. Previously, she was with Zainer Rinehart Clarke CPAs, which has offices in Santa Rosa, Sonoma and Napa, as well as with ZAP.
Marla Keenan was named partner with Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz, LLP of Santa Rosa. She joined the firm in 2002 and practices exclusively family law, including dissolution of marriage, division of property, child custody, visitation and support. Ms. Keenan is a graduate the University of California, Berkeley, and Empire College School of Law. Ms. Keenan will join partners John Johnson and Lawrence Moskowitz in leading a Family Law Department, which is recognized among Northern California family law practices. Perry is a 22-attorney, full-service firm, one of the North Bay’s largest.
Kurtzman Carson Consultants LLC in Novato announced that class-action attorneys Matthew Bucher and Robert DeWitte have joined its class-action services team. Mr. Bucher spent nine years with Milberg LLP. He began his legal career at Cauley Bowman Carney & Williams PLLC. He received his juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas School of Law and is licensed in New York and Arkansas. Mr. DeWitte has in-depth experience in 10b-5 and 20(a) cases as well as large-scale merger-related matters and consumer class-action litigation. He received a juris doctorate and master of public administration degrees from Indiana University, where he served as notes and comments editor for Indiana Law Journal.
Elizabeth Palmer joined Dickenson, Peatman & Fogarty’s Santa Rosa office as senior counsel to expand the firm’s business, tax and alcohol beverage services in Sonoma County. Ms. Palmer has practiced since 1994, counseling clients on a wide array of business and taxation matters. Previously, she was a partner with Merrill, Arnone & Jones, LLP of Santa Rosa.
Spit Bucket, a Napa Valley-based wine industry design firm, hired Felina Danalis as sustainability and operations adviser. She has over 15 years of experience in sustainability and international development, previously working for World Bank in Washington, the European Union during post-war reconstruction in Serbia and as an adviser to the minister of foreign affairs in Greece on international economic development issues.
Alex Dessouky has been promoted to vice president of marketing at V2 Wine Group in Sonoma. He joined the company in 2010 as director of marketing. Joining the company are Michael Pulice as director of national retail accounts, Jack Harvey as south central regional manager, Rick Morrison as director of sales and Jacquelyn Musgrave as finance manager. Mr. Dessouky will be responsible for managing brand strategy, positioning, channel mix, programming and advertising for V2 Wine Group’s brand portfolio. Mr. Pulice will oversee all national retail chain functions. Mr. Pulice most recently served as California chain manager with W.J. Deutsch & Sons, and previously was with Brown-Forman for 14 years. Most recently Southwest area manager with Rodney Strong Vineyards, Mr. Harvey will manage the company’s portfolio in Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Louisiana and Arkansas. Mr. Morrison previously served as national vice president sales and promotion for Richard Branson’s indie music label and six years as senior national director of modern rock promotion for the RCA/BMG/SONY Music Group. Ms. Musgrave most recently worked for Lateef Investment Management in Greenbrae, and had served as financial analyst for Premier Pacific Vineyards in Napa.
