SSU Economic Outlook Conference is Feb. 23
The Business Journal and Sonoma State University will once again collaborate on the educational institution’s annual Economic Outlook Conference Feb. 23 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park.
The conference, which will focus on the opportunities for the North Bay as the economy recovers, will feature always anticipated outlook from SSU’s Dr. Robert Eyler as well as keynote remarks from organic food visionary Andy Berliner, founder and CEO of Amy’s Kitchen, and State Controller John Chiang.
“This is a a very rare opportunity to hear from one of the visionaries of the natural foods industry, a sector in which the North Bay holds a strong competitive advantage,” Business Journal Editor and Associate Publisher Brad Bollinger said of Mr. Berliner. “And Dr. Eyler’s forecast and Controller Chiang’s perspectives come at a moment when once again the economy is searching for direction and the state’s budget outlook remains uncertain at best.”
Business Journal interviews with the presenters follow. To register call 707-521-5270 or go online to NorthBayBusinessJournal.com. Cost is $49 per person or $510 for a table.
