Rich Carlson has joined Santa Rosa-based Exchange Bank as vice president and SBA business development officer. He will serve the Bay Area from his Lafayette office. Mr. Carlson has been originating commercial real estate loans for both SBA and conventional borrowers for the past 26 years. During this time he has represented such lenders as Foothill Capital, Bank of America, Lehman Brothers, Temecula Valley Bank, and CIT. He is a past President and member of the Bay Area Mortgage Association and is a member of the Investment Marketing Forum and 680 Commercial Exchange Group.

Allen Wine Group LLP, a wine industry business advisory service and CPA firm in St. Helena, appointed Deanna Partridge as general partner. Ms. Partridge joins current partners Gina Carte and Timothy Allen at Allen Wine Group. Ms. Partridge comes to Allen Wine Group as a licensed CPA with more than a decade of firm and wine industry experience, including positions at Deloitte & Touche, Kendall-Jackson and the wine division of Moss-Adams.Education
Betty Goerke, author and instructor of anthropology and archeology at College of Marin for more than 30 years, received the California Missions Society Association President’s Award for her very detailed work on the San Rafael Mission records which will serve as a valuable research tool for future California historians. The award was presented Feb. 18 at the annual CMSA conference held at San Rafael Mission. It recognizes her “outstanding contributions toward the study and preservation of California's missions, presidios and ranchos.”Hospitality and Tourism
Silverado Resort and Spa appointed Suzy Bordeaux-Johlfs as spa director for the resort’s 16,000 square foot facility. Ms. Bordeaux-Johlfs brings more than 20 years of spa management and branding experience from throughout the country to Silverado Resort and Spa. She most recently served as general manager of Spa Anjali at the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, Colorado. Prior to Spa Anjali, she was director of brand management at Ojai Valley Inn and Spa in Ojai, California.
