Chris Bandy, MD, FACS, has been named trauma medical director of Kaiser Permanente’s Vacaville Medical Center. Dr. Bandy joins Kaiser Permanente from Enloe Medical Center in Chico where he was a trauma and emergency surgeon. Previously, Dr. Bandy implemented a Level-II trauma center at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka, Kansas. It was the third such ACS-verified trauma center in the state. After 22 years of service in the United States Army, Dr. Bandy was honorably discharged in 2003 as a Lieutenant Colonel. Dr. Bandy is now a member of the Air Force Reserves. He  received his undergraduate degree from United States Military Academy at West Point and received his medical degree from James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University.

Joan Plastino joined Santa Rosa Community Acupuncture, a low cost acupuncture clinic in the Santa Rosa. She has twenty three years of acupuncture experience. She is also practicing with pain specialist doctors in Santa Rosa.Insurance

Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company announced the appointment of Lee Roth as the new high net worth personal insurance executive. In this new role, Ms. Roth has full underwriting and distribution responsibility for the personal lines business which focuses on the specialized needs of the high net worth market. Her 30 year career in insurance started with brokerage experience, and includes 18 years with Chubb Insurance in its high net worth segment, and as a product and underwriting executive at USAA. Ms. Roth most recently served as head of the Private Client Group for North America at Chartis Insurance. She will be based in ChicagoResidential Real Estate

Robin Berardini has joined Terra Firma Global Partners as a senior sales associate in its Sonoma County offices. Ms. Berardini has more than 25 years of local real estate experience.  As a second generation Realtor, she grew up on the floor of her Father’s West County real estate company. She has served on the board for the Forestville Youth Park and presently serves as secretary for the Forestville Chamber of Commerce.

Jennifer Ready and Julie Bell have been named to the Mason-McDuffie Mortgage's Presidents Club. The club recognizes the top 10 percent of loan producers the company, which is based in San Ramon and has offices in Santa Rosa.  It was the second year in a row that Ms. Ready achieved membership. Ms. Ready and Ms. Bell were responsible for the innovative "Wine Industry Advantage" lending program to serve homebuyers who work in the wine industry.Technology

David Brown of Sonic.net has been promoted to senior account executive. He has been with Sonic.net since November 2009 in the Enterprise Sales team with over years prior experience in technology. Previous companies include Top Speed Data, Red Condor, KLH, and ATG. Mr. Brown was also awarded Sonic.net President’s Club status in 2011.

Shannon McConnell has been promoted to senior account executive Leadership Advisor at Sonic.net.  She has been a Sonic.net employee in the Enterprise Sales department for nearly sixyears, with prior experience in the telecom, wine, and real estate industry. A Santa Rosa native, she was awarded the North Bay Business Journal 40 under 40 title and Sonic.net President’s Club status in 2011.
