Noel McArdell has been an associate of Bank of America for five years working with both the business banking and middle market clients. She has recently joined the North Bay market as a client manager covering Marin and Sonoma counties. She will become a member alongside Scott Snow and Brian Kilkenny in the bank’s expanding North Bay Commercial Banking team.

Bank of the West announced Jeff Clark has joined the bank as a vice president in the Premium Wine Group. In this role, Mr. Clark will be responsible for new business development and client management with wineries, grape growers, and wine industry related businesses throughout Sonoma and Mendocino counties. Prior to joining Bank of the West, Mr. Clark held positions as a commercial banker focused on the wine industry with several California banks, most recently Comerica Bank. He has been in the banking industry since 1993, working with middle market commercial businesses in Napa and Sonoma counties.

Bank of Marin hired Matthew Bartlett as a vice president and commercial loan officer, specializing in lending to the wine industry. He will join the Commercial Banking Group and will work in the bank’s Napa and Santa Rosa branches. Before joining Bank of Marin, Mr. Bartlett was a senior loan officer for American AgCredit's North Coast region.

The Financial Women’s Association of San Francisco (FWA) announced that Barbara Morrison, long-time resident of Belevedere, former mayor and city council member of Belvedere; president of TMC Financing; and founder of TMC Working Solutions, has been selected as FWA Woman of the Year. FWA selected Ms. Morrison for the award because of her commitment to mentoring and empowering women and of the contribution she has made throughout her 30-year career to small businesses.Insurance

Fireman’s Fund appointed Donna Favata-Bosh as a senior product director for the health care product lines within its professional liability business. In her new position, Ms. Favata-Bosh is responsible for the product management of the health care practice which includes the allied health, medical facilities and senior living business areas. She will be leading strategy and product development and will be based in the Chicago office. She joins Fireman’s Fund from CNA HealthPro with a background in health care and health care claims most recently at CNA.Manufacturing

Clover Stornetta Farms, Inc. announced John Bortells will join its executive team as vice president of sales and marketing. Before coming to Clover, Mr. Bortells served as senior vice president of Mighty Leaf Tea. In that role he drove 20 percent market growth through innovation, long term business/sales strategies for the US and international marketplaces and secured new business such as Atlanta Bread, Royal Cup Coffee, Princess Cruise Lines and Wolfgang Puck. Prior to Mighty Leaf Tea, Mr. Bortells held an array of executive roles at PepsiCo throughout the U.S.Wine

The Hourglass Wine Company appointed Anthony "Tony" Biagi as the winemaker for its two estate vineyards: Hourglass Estate in St. Helena and Blueline Vineyard in Calistoga. Mr. Biagi has long focused on Bordeaux varietals in the Napa Valley, with almost 10 years of experience with the Plumpjack Group at Plumpjack and Cade wineries.
