Solano conference to tackle innovation

    North Bay Business Journal‘s annual Impact Solano conference on Sept. 26 will explore the future of the Solano County economy as well as the latest challenges and opportunities for local businesses, such as alternative energy production.

    A number of the region’s business leaders will be providing their insights. Robert Eyler, Ph.D., chair of the economics department at Sonoma State University and director of the Center for Regional Economic Analysis, will be the keynote speaker.

    Other speakers will include Kevin Finger, general manager of Anheuser-Busch’s Fairfield brewery, and Doug Fuller, process engineer at Blu Homes, whose main manufacturing plant is on Mare Island in Vallejo.

    Seating at the event, held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfield on Sept. 26, is limited. Tickets are $45 per person and $450 for a table of 10. Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the program spans from 8:30–10:30 a.m. Continental breakfast is included, along with a subscription to the Business Journal for new subscribers.
