As home to the largest complex of geothermal plants in the world and a continuing effort to establish a renewable energy-focused power agency, Sonoma County and its energy future will take center stage at North Bay Business Journal's annual Impact Sonoma conference in October.
Serving as keynote will be Mike Rogers, senior vice president of Calpine Geothermal Operations.
Additional speakers include Greg Steele, senior vice president of operations at Enphase Energy; Cordel Stillman, Sonoma County Water Agency deputy chief engineer spearheading Sonoma Clean Power; and Randy DeCaminada, North Coast executive manager for Pacific Gas & Electric Co.
Sonoma County Water Agency plans to discuss elements of a draft implementation plan for Sonoma Clean Power at the conference.
The event will be held from 7:30--10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, at Hyatt Vineyard Creek in Santa Rosa. Tickets are $49 per person or $510 for a table of 10. Continental breakfast is included, and the price also includes a subscription to the Business Journal for new subscribers.
