Correction: Smaller Blue Shield rate increase would save $16.5M

    Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones asked Blue Shield of California if it would consider a smaller rate increase, resulting in $16.5 million in savings for policyholders. The story “State insurance commissioner presses case for power over health premiums” [March 18, p. 1] had an incorrect figure.
