Nominations under way for Best Places to Work 2013

NORTH BAY -- Nominations are under way for the North Bay Business Journal's eighth annual Best Places to Work awards, celebrating companies that proactively focus on workforce satisfaction.

Nominations will be open until May 1. Anyone can submit a nomination. Companies that are selected will be asked to participate in a more detailed survey that, upon review by Business Journal editorial staff, will ultimately determine selection for the annual award.

The award, which reflects how a company's workforce views its employer, has become a recognize accolade for many North Bay companies. A record 6,400 employees participated in the anonymous work satisfaction survey in 2012, resulting in 73 winners across industries like banking, technology, food manufacturing and others. All companies with 15 or more employees and a location in Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Solano, Mendocino and Lake counties are eligible to participate.

Winners will be recognized in a ceremony later this year, along with a Business Journal special report. To nominate your company, use the online form at northbaybusinessjournal.com/70864.
