Melissa Bastianon is the newest member of Frank Howard Allen Realtors' Sebastopol office. Ms. Bastianon has held an active real estate license since 2002 and has served various positions within the real estate industry. She has worked to defend homeowner rights and has a strong background in marketing, technology, title and escrow, mortgage lending and legislation.

Cathy Miller also joined Frank Howard Allen Realtors in Sebastopol. She was formerly with Prudential California Realty in the East Bay. As an accredited staging professional, she helps sellers organize and prepare their home for sale. Ms. Miller has earned several other designations including Certified Senior Real Estate Specialist, Certified Distressed Property Expert, and Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource.

Michael Moffett, a Coldwell Banker Commercial Brokers of the Valley agent in Napa, earned a spot in the company’s Bronze Level Circle of Distinction. The Circle of Distinction for 2012 is an honor bestowed to the top 7 percent of more than 2,800 commercial professionals within Coldwell Banker Commercial nationally. Locally, Mr. Moffett was named CoStar Power Broker 2012 - Top Leasing Broker. Mr. Moffett represents sellers, owners, buyers and tenants of office, retail, industrial, land, investments and build-to-suit properties.

Jeanette Ditter, a sales associate in Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's Santa Rosa office, earned membership in the company’s International Diamond Society. Ms. Ditter has more than 22 years of real estate agent experience, including 16 years with Coldwell Banker specializing in residential and apartment investment sales and Section 1031 exchanges. She has a B.A. degree from the University of Illinois and has earned the Certified Residential Specialist designation.Technology

Petaluma-based Cyan appointed Joe Cumello chief marketing officer. He was most recently vice president of marketing at Sidera Networks a provider of fiber-based communications services to large enterprises, data centers and carriers. Before that, Mr. Cumello was vice president of marketing at SafeNet, a global provider of data-protection solutions, and worked eight years as Ciena's senior director of global marketing.Tourism

Sonoma County Tourism certified its 500th "tourism ambassador": Randy Johnson, owner of Getaway Adventures. He earned it during the program’s April 4 class. Mr. Johnson and Getaway Adventures have introduced hundreds of visitors to Sonoma County through outdoor experiences like “sip and cycle” tours, Russian River kayaking and back-country hiking. The aim of the national professional program is to showcase Sonoma County and improve visitation by inspiring front-line hospitality employees and volunteers to work together to turn every visitor encounter into a positive experience.
