LARKSPUR — The 146-room Courtyard San Francisco Larkspur Landing, a Marriott property, recently completed major renovations of its guest rooms.

Renovations include improved bedding, functional work spaces, more spacious bathrooms, separate seating areas and high-speed internet access, according to Maryland-based Marriot.  Rooms also have 32-inch flat-screen TVs. A cost figure was not provided by Marriott.

“From day one, Courtyard has prided itself as a brand that listens to what travelers want from a hotel,” said Janis Milham, vice president and global brand manager of Courtyard by Marriott. “Guests want to balance between working and relaxing, and our rooms enable them to be productive or unwind when traveling alone or with family.”

Completion of the renovation comes just as the San Francisco Bay will play host to America’s Cup, which is expected to draw scores of affluent, international visitors.

Marriott also included several green features, including the introduction of a guest recycling program that include receptacles for paper, glass, plastic and metal.
