Empire names new director of education, business school assistant director

SANTA ROSA -- Empire College announced the appointment of Mary Ellen Pastorino as its new director of education, and Mark Kalagorgevich as assistant director of education of the School of Business.

Ms. Pastorino more recently served as assistant director of education at Empire College, a role she has held since 2007. She joined Empire as an instructor in the business administration department in 2002. Prior to Empire College, Ms. Pastorino was a senior human resources representative and trainer at Sola Optical.

Mr. Kalagorgevich joined Empire in 2008 as an instructor in the business administration department, having previously served as general manager for Integrity Copiers Inc. His professional history also includes management positions with Danka and Eastman Kodak.

Ms. Pastorino graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from Oregon State University, and received a master's degree in education from Dominican University of the Pacific in San Rafael. Mr. Kalagoregevich graduated Summa Cum Laude from Regis College in Colorado with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a minor in economics.
