SANTA ROSA -- Creating a "Wow" customer service experience, and helping them succeed financially in a good team environment with very supportive managers, is all in a day's work for Wells Fargo's 850 employees.
"Wow'ing customer starts with wow'ing your coworkers. We receive lots of positive reinforcement and know we are valued," a team member said.
Wells Fargo was rated as a Top 50 diversity company, a Top 10 firm for Asian Americans, and a Top Company for members of the LGBT community by several magazines. It was honored for having the most powerful women in banking and named 14th best company in the U.S. for Latinas in 2012.
"I consider our company great because we are committed to a set of visions and values that puts the customer at the center of everything we do," Said North Bay Market President Greg Morgan. "We can only be successful if the community we live and work in is thriving."
The culture encourages everyone to grow as individuals and within the community.
"When clients say you made a happy day for them, and send thank you cards appreciating the service they received, you feel very special," team members said.
Wells Fargo donated $1.6 million and its team members volunteered a total of 3,339 hours at 175 North Bay non-profits and schools in 2012.
