    NonProfitEasy, a tech startup based within the SoCo Nexus business incubator, recently said it secured a second round of angel financing, paving the way for additional growth through 2014. This announcement comes on the heels of the company’s becoming one of the most recommended database management software packages in the nonprofit sector. NonProfitEasy has been part of SoCo Nexus for nearly three years and founder Lomesh Shah now serves as a mentor to other start-ups located within the Nexus community. To support its growth, NPE recently added four employees and has several initiatives in development that are focused on giving the nonprofit sector an integrated yet affordable technology solution.

    Wealth management

    Noah Jacobson and Brian Breen, principals at Jacobson & Breen Wealth Management, LLC, signed a six-year lease and moved their office to the executive suites on the second floor of 200 Kentucky St. in downtown Petaluma. The move was said to be necessary to accommodate the firm’s continued growth and future expansion. The firm updated its phone number to 707-595-6555.


    Gracianna Winery in Healdsburg has received five medals from the 2014 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, contending with over 5,500 entries in the largest competition of American wines in the world. Gracianna was awarded a double gold for the 2011 Gracianna Bacigalupi Pinot Noir, a gold for the 2010 Gracianna Bacigalupi Pinot Noir, silver medals for both the 2011 Gracianna Suzanne’s Blend Chardonnay and the 2010 Gracianna Bacigalupi Zinfandel and a bronze for the 2011 Gracianna Bacigalupi Zinfandel.
