St. Joseph's Annadel group adds five new physicians

SANTA ROSA -- Annadel Medical Group announced that five new physicians will join the practice, bringing the total number of physicians in Sonoma County to 66 at the St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare-affiliated group.

The incoming physicians, all well known in the region, include three new specialists for Annadel, which partners with Santa Rosa Memorial and Petaluma Valley hospitals.

The latest expansion of the medical group adds urology, plus outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine, to Annadel physicians’ areas of specialization. The new physicians are:

Ralph DiLisio, MD, who is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease and is board eligible in critical care medicine.  He earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Michigan and completed his residency and internship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio.  Dr. DiLisio is the medical director of Critical Care Medicine and Respiratory Care at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and Petaluma Valley Hospital and has been in private practice in Santa Rosa for more than eight years.

Eugene Belogorsky, MD, who completed his medical degree at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine, internship and residency at the University of Southern California Medical Center, and his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.  He is the founder of North Bay Sleep Medicine Institute, and has been in private practice in Santa Rosa and affiliated with Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for more than 25 years.

Greg Ackroyd, MD, who is board certified in neurology and sleep medicine. He attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine, completed his neurology residency at University of Texas Medical Branch, and completed his sleep medicine fellowship at University North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Dr. Ackroyd is currently the medical director at North Bay Sleep Medicine Institute and has maintained a private practice in Santa Rosa for the past seven years.

James Palleschi, MD, who is board certified in urology and has extensive subspecialty experience in renal transplantation.  He completed his medical degree at UC Irvine, residency in urology at UCSF, and a kidney transplant fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Sonoma State University. Dr. Palleschi has been in practice in Santa Rosa for more than 36 years, most recently with Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods.

Robert James, MD, who  completed his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School and residency training in general surgery and urology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. James is board certified in urology and is a clinical instructor in urology at the University of San Francisco. Dr. James has been in practice in Santa Rosa for more than 25 years, most recently with Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods.
