Annadel Medical Group opens two new offices in Sonoma County

SEBASTOPOL, WINDSOR -- Annadel Medical Group has opened a new office in Windsor and will open another in Sebastopol on Sept. 8.

More than 90 physicians now belong to the medical group, which partners with the St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare medical practice foundation as well as Santa Rosa Memorial and Petaluma Valley hospitals.

"We continue to seek opportunities to expand our primary care network to serve Sonoma County residents closer to the communities where they live and work," said Annadel Medical Group President David Smith, M.D. "With these expansions to northern and western Sonoma County and by growing our after-hours services, we are adapting to better meet the needs of local families, individuals and employers."

Physicians at both new locations will see patients on a walk-in basis from 3 to 7 p.m. weekdays. Regular appointments are available 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Annadel was founded in 2008 in Santa Rosa and later expanded to Petaluma and Healdsburg. These new practices represent the first Annadel offices to be established in Windsor and Sebastopol.

"I have chosen Annadel Medical Group because I believe the organization will allow me to provide the best opportunities for my patients," said Dr. Greg Rosa, physician for the Sebastopol office. Dr. Rosa, who previously served on the medical staff of Palm Drive Hospital, moved his practice from Prima Medical Group to Annadel and is now located at 652 Petaluma Ave., Suite B.

A well-known local family physician, Dr. Rosa established the Occidental Area Health Center in 1976 and has practiced family medicine in West Sonoma County since. He earned his medical degree from St. Louis University Medical School and completed his family medicine residency at Community Hospital in Sonoma County.

The Annadel office in Windsor opened Aug. 25 at 8911 Lakewood Dr., Suite 13. Dr. Jenny Sullivan relocated from her Santa Rosa office to Windsor and Dr. Brenda Manfredi moved from Ohio to join the medical group.

Dr. Sullivan earned her medical degree from the Panum Institute, University of Copenhagen Medical School, in 2000. She practiced medicine at Amager Hospital in Copenhagen before returning to the United States to complete a family practice residency program at UCSF Fresno University Medical Center. The 14 years she spent living and training in Denmark, Dr. Sullivan said, has given her a unique perspective on healing.

Dr. Manfredi  earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed her residency at Portsmouth Family Medicine in Virginia. Dr. Manfredi said she prides herself on building great rapport with not only her patients, but also her staff and others with whom she interacts daily.
