GoSolarMarin now in Phase II

MARIN COUNTY – GoSolarMarin, a county-wide effort to speed the adaption of solar power generation, has initiated a Phase II program. Residents and businesses that join the program before Feb. 28 can get group discounts and choose a lease option method of finance that bypasses the installation cost.

Foster City-based SolarCity is the installer for the new program, making it possible for property owners to install solar power and pay less than they currently do for electricity.

According to GSM founder Lisa Max, “Our first program was an unprecedented success, resulting directly in 100 to 120 new installations, and indirectly many more, as solar providers matched our low prices.”

To be eligible for the program, property owners need to register with GoSolarMarin either online at www.gosolarmarin.com or by calling 415-847-0900.

GoSolarMarin and Solar City will hold two seminars to provide program details, on Nov. 8 and Nov. 15. For further information, visit the Web site.
