The Business Journal will present its 2013 Construction Conference, titled “North Bay Construction is Coming Back,” on Wednesday, May 15, at Sonoma Mountain Village in Rohnert Park.

The North Bay Business Journal will honor exceptional manufacturing companies in the North Bay for their success and innovation in a special publication inserted in the North Bay Business Journal and will be recognized at an awards celebration in July. Nomination deadline is Monday, April 29.

Nominate a Facilities Manager for the Business Journal’s 2013 Facilities Managers Recognition Awards. Facilities managers are the people who keep companies and organizations functioning, and these awards recognize the contributions these talented people make to our organizations and the North Bay. Nominations close on April 19.

The North Bay Business Journal will honor exceptional women in the North Bay for their success and contributions to the business community as leaders, innovators and visionaries at the 2013 Women in Business Awards Dinner Gala in June.

We are seeking nominations for this award among such industries as Accounting, Banking, Biotech, Construction, Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship, Environment, Government, Health Care, Hospitality & Tourism, Insurance, Law, Manufacturing, Media, Nonprofit, Professional Services, Real Estate (Commercial and/or Residential), Technology, Wealth Management, Wine and/or Spirits. The Business Journal will present its seventh annual Forty Under 40 Awards Reception on Tuesday, April 30, at Hyatt Vineyard Creek in Santa Rosa

The Business Journal will present its 2013 Wine Conference “Mergers and Acquisitions, and Pricing Strategies” on Thursday, April 18, at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel in Santa Rosa.

The keynote speaker will be Giancarlo Bianchetti, CEO of Fetzer Vineyards.

The mergers-and-acquisitions panel will be composed of Rick Tigner of Jackson Family Enterprises, William Foley of Foley Family Wines, Dennis Carroll of Purple Wine Company and Pat Roney of Vintage Wine Estates.

The pricing strategies panel will include Tom Klein of Rodney Strong Wine Estates, Chris Silva of St. Francis Winery & Vineyards, Cameron Hughes of Cameron Hughes Wine and Hugh Thacher of San Francisco Winery Exchange.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The program is from 8–11:30 a.m.

The North Bay Business Journal’s 2013 Impact Marin Conference will take place on Wednesday, April 3, at the Embassy Suites in San Rafael. Registration is at 7:30 a.m., and program is from 8-10 a.m.

The Business Journal is looking for nominations for its seventh annual Forty Under 40, a special publication and awards reception that will recognize 40 professionals under the age of 40. Nominations are now open, ending Feb. 20.

The 2013 Book of Lists release celebration is set for Tuesday, Jan. 22, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park. The deadline to register is Jan. 18

The event features “Hot Laps” with Sonoma Raceway drivers and a panel discussion “The State of Multifamily Real Estate,” with Scott Gerber of Cassidy Turley and Keith Guericke of Essex Property Trust.
