Marin Energy Authority files complaint against PG&E
March 12th, 2010SAN RAFAEL (Updated 10:30 a.m. today with PG&E comment) — The Marin Energy Authority filed a complaint with the California Public Utilities Commission today claiming that PG&E Corp. is violating state law by “pouring millions of dollars into a special interest lobbying group that is aggressively seeking to kill a local program designed to provide residents and businesses with twice the renewable energy as the giant utility for the same price.”

CARB fines for emissions
March 1st, 2010NORTH BAY – The California Air Resources Board fined two North Bay companies last month for failing to comply with emissions standards for diesel-powered vehicles. Golden State Lumber in Petaluma was fined $20,000 after investigators found the company did not conduct mandated emissions tests between 2007 and 2008. Napa-based Biagi Bros. was fined $14,400 for failing to properly inspect the vehicles for excess emissions in 2008 and 2009.
