When the tour was done, I felt for the first time in 25 years of following Agilent that I understood — in a non-technical way, for sure — what the company does in Santa Rosa. Wireless growth helps propel Agilent revenue
November 15th, 2011SANTA ROSA — Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) rounded out the its fiscal year with a strong fourth quarter, seeing revenues and orders rise 10 percent from the previous year. The Electronic Measurement Group headquartered in Santa Rosa saw revenues jump 12 percent from the same quarter last year, although orders were flat for the period.

Claret Medical raises $3 million, gets EU product approval
October 31st, 2011SANTA ROSA — Claret Medical, Inc., a recently formed Santa Rosa-based developer of methods designed to protect against brain embolism during vascular intervention and surgery, received European Union approval today for its Montage System. It’s the second product approval this year. Claret has raised most of a $3.5 million round of private equity financing opened in late summer.
