Major clients include Trope Group, Verdier Architects and Gary Finnan Creative.  Ms. Sheehan previously worked for the North Bay Business Journal and has more than 30 years experience in advertising, sales and market development.

Dr. John Dermody was named chair of the Napa Valley Opera House Board of Trustees. Mr. Dermody replaces the post vacated by Greg Evans, who completed his term as board chair and remains a trustee.  Dr. Dermody is a family physician in private practice, founding member of Napa Valley Family Medical Group, a director of Charter Oak Bank and Queen of the Valley Medical Center's immediate past chief of staff.

Health Care

Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center appointed Kerry Paul director of the family medicine department. Ms. Paul transferred from Kaiser San Francisco where she served four years as director of medicine and the past two years as assistant medical group administrator for primary care.  Previously she was a practice administrator for Primary Care Associates in Sonoma County.

Dick Alesch, a financial manager with Brim Healthcare Inc., was named the interim chief financial officer at Palm Drive Hospital in Sebastopol. Mr. Alesch has more than 25 years experience in health care financial management and served as a CFO at three hospitals. Mr. Alesch replaces Glenn Minervini-Zick, who served as a temporary CFO until a replacement could be found. In July the Palm Drive Health Care District Board hired Brim, based in Brentwood, Tenn., to manage the hospital, and it is currently searching for a permanent CFO.

Real Estate

Ally May joined the Sonoma office of Frank Howard Allen Realtors, the Wine Country Group. Ms. May, a real estate agent since 1998, will be specializing in residential sales.


Kevin Burton was named director of sales and hospitality for Windsor-based Inman Family Wines. Mr. Burton, formerly retail operations director at J Vineyards & Winery, will focus on generating wine sales and creating a unique visitor experience in the winery's new tasting room.
