The Santa Rosa Young Professionals Network, a division of the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce, named to its volunteer advisory board Michelle Crosbie, Dal Poggetto & Company LLP; Corey Eames, Century 21 Alliance; and Tiffany Griffith, Exchange Bank. Chair elect is Mike Cook, landscape architect. Kate Kelly of Redwood Credit Union and a founding YPN board member, will be board chair.

Don Ross has joined Petaluma-based Sunbelt Business Advisors as a business intermediary. Mr. Ross was a regional marketing and sales director of the Legal Publishing division of McGraw-Hill Co. and a marketing consultant to the 1996 Atlanta Olympics Venue Management Group.

John Pearson, a certified financial planner, became affiliated with NPB Financial Group LLC, a regional broker-dealer offering securities and investment advisory services.


Kent Stevenson, vice president of sales for Stevenson Supply in Santa Rosa, was awarded the 2009 Vendor of the Year award by the Redwood Empire Maintenance Superintendents Associations. Mr. Stevenson was also elected to the board of directors of the Northern California Engineering Contractors Association.

Nonprofit Organizations

The board of directors of the Sonoma County Literary Arts Guild in Santa Rosa named Melissa Kelley the new director of the Sonoma County Book Festival.

Real Estate

Novato-based Frank Howard Allen named Barry Crotty manager of the Tiburon office. Mr. Crotty most recently served as branch manager of Pacific Union in Mill Valley. Before that he was the sales manager of Coldwell Banker in Greenbrae.


Veteran Napa winemaker, winery manager, consultant and cooper Chris Dearden is leaving Benessere Vineyards to focus on Costa Del Sol Consulting, his consulting business. Mr. Dearden founded Benessere Vineyards in Napa 14 years ago.

Adam Torpy was named CEO of the restructured Goelet Wine Estates, reporting to a board of directors overseeing production, finance, sales and marketing for the Goelet portfolio, which includes Clos Du Val in Napa and three other wineries.
