The SSU Alumni Association is pleased to present a career workshop series to support and assist professionals with career transition and renewal. It is open to the general public as well as SSU alumni, but seating is limited.

At the first workshop, “Planning Your Career Direction in a Challenging Economy,” Anne Greenblatt, a career counselor with more than 20 years experience at Stanford and Sonoma State University, will provide tools and interactive exercises to clarify individual strengths, work style and the factors driving choices -- and brainstorm options for each individual using a model of the emerging world of work. Participants will complete an action plan using resources for exploring these options.

This workshop will be held on Feb. 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on campus in Salazar 1061.

The second workshop in the series, “Network Yourself for Results,” presents a specific step-by-step action plan for networking that has brought results to hundreds of people. Career Coach Cynthia Stringer will demonstrate how to leverage your strengths and skills to expand your network and bring job offers in record time. This workshop will be held on March 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on campus in Salazar 1061.
